This Anakin Skywalker figure is a classic case where aesthetics outweigh features. The great thing about this action figure is that it looks exactly like the character in the Clone Wars TV show. The figure doesn't have much articulation below the waist. Besides having Anakin stand straight, there is not much the figure can do due to the lack of movable knees and ankle articulation. Anakin stands securely by himself though, and he can hold the lightsaber tightly. Hasbro also included a shooting device which can be attached to Anakin's arm. It holds a projectile which can be released and shot out. Overall, this is an average figure with great character likeness, which is clearly targeted towards a younger audience.
Anakin is sent to rescue the kidnapped son of Jabba the Hutt, an act that will not only save an innocent life, but also give the Republic free passage through the Hutt’s systems. Tracking the Huttlet to the remote planed Teth, Anakin is caught in a web of deceit and betrayal as he and his team battle to free Jabba’s son, and escape with their lives.
