The very first Padmé Amidala action figure was released in 1999 as part of the Episode 1 toy line. Hasbro has been reluctant to release Padmé Amidala figures, stating over and over again that female Star Wars figures don't sell as well as their male counterparts. Many of the figures released have limited articulation, especially figures of Padmé in politician outfits usually are static from the waist down.
